After we’ve carried out the cleaning process, we would recommend that you take advantage of our sealing service. This involves treating the area that has been cleaned with a high quality sealant which impregnates the surface and leaves a hard wearing acrylic coating providing many benefits some of which are shown below:
- Enhances appearance, especially older paving block
- Plasticises the sanded joints to form a strong bond
- Inhibits the growth of algae, lichen, grass and weeds
- Helps to prevent ant colonies
- Reduces surface porosity which will prevent stains and make the surface easier to clean
- Stops wear
- Stops water impregnating concrete
- Enhances colour and helps prevent loss of colour
- Protects against frost, preventing shailing and flaking
- Also comes in an anti slip version
- Prevents damp, rot, cracking and warping (in decking)
- Helps prevent slippery decking by eliminating algae growth
We can seal all hard surface areas including block paving, sandstone, cement slabs, pattern imprinted concrete, tarmac and decking. All the sealants we use are of the highest quality and are available in both gloss and matt finishes.
